Holy Family School

Chicago, IL

The solution for Holy Family School (HFS) involved “coming to the asset” – developing a new facility in partnership with another NFP and public entity that already had begun redeveloping a low income community, rather than the school’s original plan of pioneering on their own.

Develop a new campus for HFS, a K-8 private, urban school serving low income families.

HFS was located in dilapidated and crowded rental space in a dangerous neighborhood. The school had no assets.

HFS opened in its new facility, sharing outdoor play space, new indoor pools and recreation facilities, campus security, and parking (a $15 million project).
